CLIMA BEST

Better CLIMA based on the BEST experiences

The overarching project goal is to bring about notable positive changes in perceptions, awareness and behavior of the target groups towards combating the climate change. By presenting climate change mitigation and adaptation measures, both rural and urban, the project will show how small changes to their home or land, transport, energy production, heating or overall consumption can contribute to the fight against climate change. The objective will be achieved by implementing awareness and information activities in parallel with related  on-site mitigation and adaptation measures in which target audiences will take an active part, particularly in relation to rain water retention and climate-friendly land use, renewable energy use, green and clean heating, climate friendly mobility, green infrastructure and biodiversity conservation. The project aims to exchange bilateral knowledge, experiences, and best practices in an effort to raise awareness and literacy on climate change and its impacts in Slovakia.
